The Lennox EAC12 maintains smooth air flow during the cleaning process. A furnace blower draws airborne contaminants into the air cleaner, and then a prefilter screen (A) traps the large pollutants. Next, a charging section (B) gives a positive electrical charge to remaining particles, which are then collected by a negatively charged collecting section (C). And in the final step, an optional charcoal filter (D) absorbs unwanted odors and smoke.

Filtration steps

Since the EAC12 replaces the existing filter in your furnace, you no longer need to bother with constant filter replacement. Both the prefilter screen and the twin-collector cells are cleanable. Just remove and wash them three or four times a year in your dishwasher or with a hose. Its
